You can do research online for carpet installation. Many tutorials are available by the internet. If you are more comfortable with someone showing you in person, then you may wish to sign up for a workshop that is offered free by many home improvement stores. This way you are able to ask the person questions that is telling you how its done.

Also be sure to take notes of all the tools and material that you will need to buy such as safety glasses  tackless strips,  kneepads, stapler, measuring tape, hammer, utility knife, seam tape, chalk line, and work gloves.
